Each shown standing on a grassy tussock atop a plinth, and each carved as an individual, all variously attired, with different features, of various ages and standing in various poses: one holding a pup that is biting his ear, while a tortoise lies beneath the tussock; one tempting a dragon with a pearl; one with his foot resting on a horse; another with his foot resting on an elephant; the back of each with a hollow compartment, traces of polychrome
