Yongzheng six-character mark in underglaze blue within a double circle and of the period
Painted in Ming style in inky tones of underglaze blue with an allover pattern of ruyi scroll below detached cruciform foliate sprays encircling the waisted neck, all within double-line borders

Lot Essay

No other vase of this design appears to have been published. However, a Yongzheng vase of identical size and shape, but decorated with a band of pomegranate and peach sprays on interlocking lotus stems, was sold in our Hong Kong rooms, 30 October 1995, lot 660.
