Standing in samapada holding the mace, chakra and conch, wearing a long garland of buds, large earrings and an elaborate crown, flanked on either side by his consorts Lakshmi with a fly whisk and Sarasvati with the string instrument denoting her role as the goddess of learning and the arts, the arched mandorla carved with lions atop elephants
