The tripartite iron blade issuing from the mouth of a makara, with entwined serpents meandering down the sides in gilt copper, the stylized lotus-petal handle bordered by 'endless knots', surmounted by three wrathful heads wearing skull tiaras and knotted snake earrings, the hair gathered into a vajra finial
