Tibet, 15th/16th Century
Seated in lalitasana on a double lotus base with beaded rims, her right hand in varada and her left hand in vitarka mudra with her arms flanked by two lotus stalks, her pendent right foot resting upon a padma cushion, wearing a dhoti arranged in pleats at her feet and a sash incised with petal border, adorned with garlands, armlets, bracelets, disk-shaped earrings, and foliate tiara, her face slightly tipped to the right with downcast eyes and bow-shaped lips, her hair arranged with strands falling across her back and shoulders in a chignon topped by a bud-shaped cintamani, base sealed
