Both figures finely detailed in royal garb standing upon a grassy field, Shah Jahan depicted in a white beard facing right with his face surrounded by a gold nimbus, wearing a green jama with a sword at his side, Dara Shikoh on reverse side facing left wearing gold garments with brown fur collar and matching boots porting a jeweled flywhisk and long scabbard with jeweled hilt, both paintings mounted on album leaves with inscriptions in Nastaliq below
