A Meissen porcelain mantle clock
Circa 1870, With a French Movement
Surmounted by Zeus seated on a cloud, holding thunderbolts in his hand, his eagle to his left side, above a circular white enamel dial inscribed HRY MARC PARIS, the movement also inscribed HRY MARC PARIS and numbered 58975, above Father Time being chained down, on a shaped base, on four scroll and foliate feet, the underside with underglazed Blue Sword mark and numbered 1047
