Of serpentine outline, the inside with a removable metallic liner, the front and back each centred by a medallion depicting a scène champêtre, the sides each depicting ribbon-tied garden tools, on four cabriole legs, each headed by a foliate mount, on foliate sabots; stamped twice MASSON A VERSAILLES under the rim, the carcass with marque au feu inventory number STC 22126 and a paper label inscribed 256
