The first designed with a basket of vegetables and flowers decorated in gold and silver takamaki-e, the background hirame; fitted with a gilt-metal openwork ojime cast as chrysanthemums; the second with an all-over design of plovers over Matsushima, the birds gold and silver takamaki-e, the pine and waves gold takamaki-e and hiramaki-e, the backround hirame; fitted with a pierce-carved wickerwork ivory ojime
