The helmet decorated in textured lacquer, with a six-plate iron bowl and the rear plate raised, the four-stage tehen kanamono (finial), with the lower two stages formed as a sixteen-petal chrysanthemum, a simple soft-metal maedate (forecrest) of inome (boar's eye), four-lame iron manji-jikoro (rounded neckguard) with the lower plate in red lacquer, the lacing green sugake-odoshi (spaced lacing), the maebashi (peak) and the fukigaeshi (turnbacks) decorated in red textured lacquer, together with a black iron hambo (half-mask), the four-lame yodarekake (throat guard) and lower plate in red, the lacing green sugake-odoshi
