Modelled as a blackamoor carrying a bale containing a circular white-enamelled dial with Roman chapters and Arabic numerals, the movement numbered 13651 and inscribed R/A with a balance wheel escapement, above a rectangular base with a frieze depicting cherubs in a boat, above a rectangular plinth, on spreading feet, restorations, stick replaced
