Circa 1730, marked with blue crossed swords
(Walzenkrug) painted in the manner of Johann Gregorius Höroldt with a quatrefoil cartouche of scrolling foliage (Rankenbordüre) in gilt, manganese-red and purple, enclosing a garden scene of various Orientals adoring a Joss-altar, further with branches of Indianische Blumen and a butterfly, the upper border with Goldspitzenbordüre, the loop handle with a rocaille in slight relief and with a further branch, the domed terraced cover connected with a fan-shaped thumbpiece to the handle, the underside with an indented mount (damaged and repaired)
