First half 18th century
Painted in colours, decorated with an aristocratic Oriental couple seated on a bench in front of a fence, both holding a flywhisk, she holding a booklet, further with flower-filled vases and scrolling foliage, the shaped raised border marbled in green and blue to the outside, to the inside with a band of ammonite scrolls, pierced with two holes
