The eared moulded rectangular top surmounted by a pierced brass three-quarter gallery with an open central section and with ball finials, above a panelled frieze drawer and a conforming fall-front, enclosing a fitted interior with six pigeon-holes above a shelf and above a small door enclosing an open compartment with a base drawer, flanked to either side by three drawers, the angles with tapering herm pilasters, above two doors enclosing a plain interior with one shelf, on square tapering legs with brass bell-shaped feet, the back feet later
