Lot Essay

The gun was built for Charles Edward Tisdall, merchant and Provincial Legislator for Vancouver in the years 1898, 1900, 1903 and 1912. Tisdall was born in Birmingham, England in 1866 and subsequently became President of the Vancouver Board of Trade
