Images include parachutes under construction, testing, equipment, an image by Guy Étévé of a ring of thirty-two free-fall skydivers, a study of Renée Jacquart, the celebrated parachutist Denois being congratulated after his stratospheric descent, 2 November 1938, the "Birdman" Rudolph Boehlen, the Swiss who jumped from 7,000 feet and glided for several seconds with bat-shaped wings above the airfield at Bern, Switzerland, before opening his parachute and landing safely; other views include parachute stores, various accidents, and a quantity of press cuttings relating to parachuting (100 approx. plus press cuttings contained in two ringbinders and folder)
