The above medal was awarded to John MacKenzie who made his debut for Norwich City against Bristol Rovers on 3rd September 1910. After a brief spell with Carlisle, he quickly became a firm favorite with the Norwich City fans. He captained the side 103 times and was the first man to break the 200 appearance barrier, making a total of 204 appearances for the club and scoring 2 goals.

The Norfolk and Hospital Cup was an annual pre-season competition held to raise funds for the local hospital. For the only time, in the 1910-11 season, the match was played twice, this being against Newcastle United, when Norwich City defeated Newcastle United
