The crest rail with decoration of deer and birds separated by scrolling acanthus and anthemion and a coat of arms consisting of two comets divided by a band of flowers under a coronet at either end, the upholstered seat above blind fretwork carved seat rail raised on carved sphinx legs with extended wings, on plain rectangular bases, one sphinx possibly replaced, slight variation to gilding and carving
