Probably Murano, 19th Century
The cartouche-shaped plate with reverse-engraved figure of a classically clad youth holding thunderbolts within a giltwood frame inset with a clear glass banding, applied with red, white, and blue glass flowers, surmounted by a female mask with plumage, the reverse with printed depository label, R.P Over & Sons Ltd. Depository/Camberley Surrey/ and inscribed in pencil Hon. Mrs. Bethel 18-2-44/52
