The rectangular top with double lozenge-inlaid panels above the rolling cylinder front enclosing a central later tambour-slide door and a range of stepped drawers and pigeonholes behind a green leather writing insert, the three long drawers breakfronted and flanked by canted stop-fluted angles, on scrolled block feet carved with ribbon-suspended laurel wreath, each side panelled with flower-filled vases, inlaid overall with scrolling flower vines and with fruitwood stringing to each panel, remounted
