A celadon jade plaque
19th Century
of oval shape, the central circular panel carved with two figures, the reverse with five lines of calligraphy, within a pierced scrolling border -- 3in. (7.6cm.) wide; a mottled jade circular shaped disc, carved with confronting dragons -- 6 3/8in. (16.2cm.) diam.; a large celadon jade pendant, carved in the form of a mythical fish above foaming waves -- 6 3/8in. (16.2cm.) wide; a celadon jade buckle, carved with a central shaped panel with a bat and a peach, the reverse with calligraphy, within pierced confronting dragons amongst foliage -- 5 3/8in. (13.6cm.) wide; a celadon jade rectangular plaque, decorated in incised gilt with a small boat in a river scene, the reverse with eight lines of calligraphy -- 4¾in. (12cm.) wide; and another celadon jade plaque carved with two confronting guei dragons surrounding a central disc -- 3½in. (9cm.) wide, (minor wear).

Lots will be available for collection following transfer to Cadogan Tate on the Friday following the sale and every weekday from 9.00 a.m. to 5.00 p.m.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THERE WILL BE NO CHARGE TO PURCHASERS WHO COLLECT THEIR LOTS WITHIN ONE WEEK OF THE SALE.
On the Thursday one week after the sale, a transfer and administration charge of £18.50 per lot will be payable and a storage charge of £3.20 per lot per day will then come into effect. These charges are payable to Cadogan Tate and are subject to VAT and an insurance surcharge.
