A small Cantonese planter and stand
19th Century
decorated in gilt and various coloured enamels with a continuous scene of ladies and officials assembled on a terrace, the stand with butterflies among flower sprays, both stood on three low feet -- 3 7/8in. (9.8cms) high; a Cantonese leaf dish decorated with panels of figures on terraces, birds amid flower and fruit sprays -- 8¼in. (21cms) diam; a collection a eight Cantonese plates -- 10 5/8in. (27cms) diam max; and a Cantonese planter with foliated rim -- 8 7/8in. (22.5cms) diam, (some damages).
