The first English, circa 1600-1620, the second 16th Century
The first of iron, the arms terminating in chiselled animal-heads, the russet surface retaining some of its gold-damascenend decoration heightened with small silver ovals, similar to that found on English cutlery of the period; the second with iron head of stiff diamond section, and leather fletchings (one incomplete)
