wearing a frock-coat, waistcoat and trousers, modelled standing his right hand on his hip, holding a scroll in his left hand, inscribed Repeal the Corn Law, resting on a pedestal, well coloured, on a shaped titled base, circa 1846 (minor chips the the underside of the base, and typical crazing to the glaze) -- 21cm. high; a figure of Richard Cobden, modelled standing with his right hand on his hip, holding a scroll in his left hand, well coloured, on a shaped oval titled base, circa 1846 (the scroll in his hand restored, and some flaking to enamels) -- 22cm. high
