A group of Bishops Ridley and Latimer
Thomas Parr, the bishops modelled standing each side of a stake among burning faggots, well coloured and gilt, on a oval titled base inscribed 'Be of good comfort, Master Ridley, and play the man: we shall this day light such a candle, by God's grace, in England, as I trust shall never be put out.', circa 1851 (some chips to fingers and a crack to base) -- 24cm. high
