Each side painted with architectural views named below for BARRIER DE VERSAILLES and BARRIERE DE L'ECOLE MILITAIRE within oval gilt-band cartouches against a broad band alternating with gilt and blue triangular panels, the angular handles and foliate crenellations enriched with gilding (restoration to some crenellations, slight areas of wear to handles and gilt footrim)
