A VICTORIAN MAHOGANY CUPBOARD
The dentilled cornice above a pair of fielded panelled doors enclosing a shelf and a green baize-lined platform for storing guns, above a pair of conforming panelled doors enclosing a material-lined interior with a shelf, on a moulded plinth base, with two Harringtons, Hove depository labels stamped 'CHICHESTER' and inscribed in chalk on reverse 'Chichester/354' and 'WHITBREAD 3883', the upper section with previously sliding trays

Probably Henry, 3rd Earl of Chichester (d. 1886), Stanmer Park, Sussex and by descent to his daughter
Lady Isabella Pelham (d. 1916), wife of Samuel Whitbread (d. 1915) of Southill, Bedfordshire and by descent.
