Lot Essay

This example shows two variations of the figure's back. A lithograph of this work was produced by Guilde de La Gravure, Geneva, in an edition of 212.
There are a number of related works and a smaller version was exhibited in the Malborough-Gerson Henri Laurens exhibition from November to December 1966. There is another version with gouache in the Collection Kahnweiler-Leiris at the Centre Georges Pompidou.
