The Castllo Ygay is made only in the best vintages at the Ygay estate and from the best available fruit. The 1970 is a blend of 75 Tempranillo, 10 Garnacha, 12 Mazuelo and 3 Graciano. It was fermented in 18,000 litre barrels for 15 days, with constant skin contact. The wine has been aged for 312 months in 225 Lt American oak casks.
