A NORTH EUROPEAN BRASS-BOUND KINGWOOD AND ROSEWOOD STRONG BOX
Late 17th Century
Bound overall with stylised foliate hinges and mounts, with carrying- handles to each side, the rectangular hinged top enclosing a shallow interior with two large screws running vertically through each side, the hinged front concealing three small compartments, with a large key for the side screws
