Two Longton Hall figures of Spring and Autumn
from a set of the Seasons, modelled as a seated boy and girl, he wearing a brown frock-coat with pale-pink breeches holding a wreath of flowers, she wearing a lemon-yellow hat, and a dress with pale-pink bodice dressed with green ribbons, yellow shirts and an apron, holding a basket of grapes on her lap, on scroll-moulded mound bases, enriched in gilt and applied with flowers, circa 1755 (he with restoration to his neck, she with her left arm re-applied, each with minor chips) -- 13cm. high
