A Meissen peach-ground gilt-metal-mounted cabinet cup, cover and saucer mounted as an inkstand
of square section, the corners moulded as columns, the stepped cover with an eagle finial, painted with a cartouche of a hunter and hounds before a wooded landscape, flanked by two further cartouches of crossed rifles, a bag and a horn suspended from stag horns within a foliate gilt cartouche below gilt ornament, the cup supported by scrolling metalwork above the saucer, painted with a further hunting scene, on four column moulded feet, blue crossed swords mark, 19th century -- 15.5cm. high
