The rounded rectangular top with Greek-key pierced three-quarter gallery and gilt-tooled red leather-lined writing-surface above two frieze drawers, each inlaid with ebonised lines, on rectangular end- supports and outsplayed legs with scrolled corbels, with paw feet and countersunk brass castors, the handles replaced, restorations to the crossbanding, the brace below the top and the brass feet later
