A finely detailed exhibition standard model of a Tangyes twin cylinder horizontal stationary engine
with blued-steel clad cylinders 1 1/16in. bore x 1 5/16in. stroke, each with inlet and exhaust pipework with flanged joints, main stop valves, displacement lubricators, rope driven governors, linkage and valves, bayonet frames and disc cranks, the centrally mounted spoked flywheel enabling the engines to be run as separate units. Further details include four main bearings with oil pots, eccentric driven valves, hand crank operation for demonstration, cast bed and wood plinth, finished in blue and polished brightwork -- 12 x 16in.
