A MAGNIFICENT SUITE OF SAPPHIRE AND DIAMOND JEWELRY
The front set with a series of nine graduated sugarloaf cabochon sapphires, each within a circular-cut diamond surround, five enhanced by pear-shaped diamonds, spaced by pear-shaped diamond three-stone links, joined to a pear-shaped diamond three-stone link backchain; and a pair of ear pendants en suite, mounted in platinum and gold, 16¼ ins.
With certificate information from Gübelin Gemological Laboratory stating that nine of the sapphires range in weight from approximately 3.00 to 7.86 carats, and that the properties and internal features observed under magnification correspond to those of a natural sapphire, origin, in the opinion of the Laboratory, Kashmir.
With four certificate information from the SSEF Swiss Gemological Institute stating that four of the sapphires show inclusions as well as physical and chemical properties which, in our opinion, are characteristic of a sapphire from Kashmir, No indications of thermal treatment (2)
