The cushion top surmounted by an urn finial and with further urn finials to the corners, the front angles mounted with figures of winged caryatids and those to the rear with enamel decorated columns, the base with projecting corners and raised on toupie feet, the dial similarly decorated in polychrome enamels and with gilt painted Roman reserve chapters, blued steel hands, the centre with rubbed retail signature for PENNINGTON & HUTTON, the twin barrel movement with strike on bell -- 17½in. (45cm.) high
