A Continental carved giltwood grande sonnerie wall clock, mid 19th century
The case elaborately carved with vine leaves and clusters of grapes, with fruiting urn cresting, white enamel Roman convex dial with Arabic five minutes, regulation at XII, pierced brass hands, the triple barrel movement with silk suspension, striking hours on one bell and quarters on another, with trip quarter repeat to one side and hour repeat to the other, operated via levers above the dial; possibly Swedish -- 32in. (82cm.) high
