A MAHOGANY SECRETAIRE BOOKCASE, LATE 18TH CENTURY AND LATER
Top and base possibly associated, with restoration, the upper part with a moulded dentil cornice and arched frieze enclosed by a pair of glazed astragal doors, the lower part with a moulded edge and fall front enclosing a fitted interior with kitchen holes, drawers and secret compartments with simulated leather book spines containing two short and two long drawers below applied with pierced brass gilt metal handles on bracket feet
