AN ITALIAN CARVED WALNUT CUPBOARD, 19TH CENTURY INCORPORATING ELEMENTS OF AN EARLIER DATE, SOME POSSIBLY LATE 16TH/EARLY 17TH CENTURY, OF BAMBOCCI INFLUENCE
With moulded cornice fitted with a foliate panel frieze drawer with mask between foliate scroll corbels enclosed by a cartouche moulded panelled door with panels above and below flanked by stiles with sculptured figures, soldiers and caryatid and grotesque animals on projecting feet carved with grotesque half human animal heads
