The upper part with satinwood crossbanded and inlaid scroll pediment centred by a tablet with a C-scroll inlay between crossbanded panels fitted with adjustable shelves and enclosed by a pair of cushion astragal glazed panel doors (with re-placements), the lower part crossbanded and inlaid with ebony lines enclosing a satinwood and ebony strung fitted interior with pigeon holes and drawers and tooled leather lined writing surface containing three long drawers below on swept bracket feet
