A pair of Japanese cloisonne vases
Meiji Period
of ovoid shape and flaring necks, decorated in various coloured enamels with birds perched on leafy branches, on a rusty red ground -- 7¼in. (18.4cm.) high; and another cloisonne vase of tapering shape and flaring neck, decorated with a band of birds in flight amongst flowering branches -- 7 1/8in. (18cm.) high, (minor wear).
