Six iron tsuba
18th and 19th Century, some signed
cast and pierced in the form of an open parasol -- 3¼in. (8.2cm.) wide; a circular shaped iron tsuba, cast and pierced with a honeycomb pattern, traces of gilt to the outer edge -- 3 1/8in. (8cm.) wide; a circular shaped iron tsuba in the form of a chrysanthemum flower with leaf resting on it -- 3 3/8in. (8.5cm.) wide; a quatrefoil shaped iron tsuba, decorated with scrolling mythical dragons, gilt inlaid eyes -- 3¾in. (9.5cm.) wide; a circular shaped iron tsuba, cast and pierced with a dragon amongst cloud scrolls, gilt inlaid eyes -- 3¼in. (8.3cm.) wide; and an oval shaped iron tsuba, decorated in relief with a scrolling dragon amongst cloud scrolls -- 3in. (7.5cm.) wide, (rubbing and old wear).
