A Chinese Imari oblong octagonal tea caddy
18th century
painted and gilt with panels of peach sprays and flowering rocky gardens amongst trailing flower sprays, pewter cover -- 4 3/8in. (11cms) high, (glaze chips and fritting to rims); and a smaller Chinese Imari octagonal tea caddy painted with flowers and foliage -- 3½in. (9cms) high, (rim fritting and nibbles).
