A famille verte biscuit ewer
Kangxi
set on a raised rectangular base decorated with a prunus and cracked ice design, the hexagonal ewer with moulded mythical beast head to the base of the spout, decorated with panels of birds amongst flowers and rockwork on a swastika pattern ground, the handle in the form of a Buddhistic lion standing on its hind legs, resting one foot on a brocade ball, its head turned to its right -- 7 1/8in. (18cms) high, (cover missing, top of spout restored).
