A Chinese three tiered sectional pottery pagoda
Liao Dynasty
of hexagonal form, the base with pierced quatrefoil panels, carved with trailing flowers and foliage beneath a simulated pierced fenced section, each mid section with pierced panels above doorways, beneath sloping tiled rooves, the roof in two sections, the lower section carved with panels of jardinieres of flowering plants surmounted by a four tiered lobed finial, red and white pigments remaining -- each roofed level measuring 9½in. (24cms) high, (old wear).
