Lot Essay

Michel Perchin was the Head Workmaster for Peter Carl Faberge from 1885 to 1903. The Blue Serpent pen was inspired by the Blue Serpent Clock Egg which Tsar Alexander III presented to his wife, Empress Maria Fedorovna in 1887.
