With nickel-finished lever movement, 24 jewels, bimetallic compensation balance, the white enamel dial with outer ring calibrated for 60 seconds for split second chronograph display, two subsidiary dials indicating the time with Roman numerals and blued steel spade hands and constant seconds, in plain case with initials to the reverse in blue enamel (No. 48196), split second chronograph mechanism operated by one button in the band and through the crown, together with Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives, case stamped by maker and numbered, cuvette numbered, dial signed by retailer, movement signed by retailer and numbered

Lot Essay

Patek Philippe 18K pink gold split second chronograph watches are extremely rare with this dial configuration. The visual emphasis is placed on the split second chronograph display as opposed to the traditonal time display.
