Lot Essay

In 1886, the Republic of Geneva introduced the Geneva Seal hallmark as a symbol of recognition for the highest quality mechanical timepieces. The Bureau responsible for inspecting the watches followed rigorous technical criteria before a watch could receive the Seal.

Examples of Patek Philippe stainless steel chronograph wristwatches with pink gold bezels rarely appear in auction. The pink dial further distinguishes this piece.
