The reverse of the oval gilt bowl with alternating stripes of niello foliate scrolls in the turkish style and gilt engraved chevron checkers, within reeded borders, the shaped and raised calyx mount with triangular niello pattern, the twisted stem handle similarly engraved to the bowl alternating with a niello bast-weave design, with reeding between, the finial engraved with a star, apparently unmarked
