In the Charles II style; each wall-plate repoussé and chased with scrolls, foliage and rocaille on a matted ground centering an oval cartouche engraved with a coat-of-arms and crest within crossed fronds, the candlearms formed as serpents issuing from a wild mask, with octagonal socket, marked on reverse of wall-plates, one arm and each socket
